Fall Programs - 2008

Premier Volleyball Academy hosts many different training sessions for players of all ages. Any player from any school or club is welcome to enroll in our specialty training sessions. We have a few camps that are reserved for Premier Club players only and are noted accordingly. We have a wide variety of staff that conduct our sessions and most National level coaches in the Premier club are directing or are involved in all clinics. To enroll in any session, players can print off the registration form or come by the facility at 1630 Marketplace Drive, Maumee, OH 43537. The Academy is open Mon-Friday 1:00-10:00pm. Saturday and Sundays are various hours. Most sessions have a limited number of spots available so register early to ensure you get in. Registration is ongoing. Players may register for as many camps and clinics as they wish.

Fall Elite Private Group Lessons with Ed/Jodi/Josh
Setting, Attacking, or Defensive/Passing series for Elite Players

This fall, we will once again offer the Elite Series at Premier Academy. The purpose of this series is to schedule sessions for our elite players to keep training at a high level on technical work such as arm-swing mechanics, movement, platform technique, etc. over the fall months. All sessions are only open to players that played on a national or regional level teams in Premier/M-Juniors for 2008. Occasionally we might invite an elite player from outside of our program if we feel they can enter the series without holding others back. Players can come to as many or as little amount of sessions as they want after they sign up. All that you have to do to sign up is mail in your check for each session with a memo of which position you are attending. The deadline is just when we are full. We have all of your information already on file. Players may register for more than one series if they want to do two. For example: a setter can come to setting and stay for attacking. Each skill session that you sign up for is $110. Players can only register for the entire series of 6 sessions even if you have to miss some. You cannot pro-rate sessions, and you cannot hold a spot without payment for this series. This is for players in 9-12th grade only.

Optional PlyoCity Training
The PlyoCity work-out program will be added to each Fall Ball session immediately before each session with Bryan Voss as the primary instructor. Bryan is the strength and conditioning coach for Premier Academy. The PlyoCity work-out program is a great plyometric training class to aid in the physical development of each volleyball player. We have the found the PlyoCity program to be one of the most beneficial aids in developing our club players to make them quicker, stronger, jump higher, and help reduce injury. The PlyoCity program normally costs athletes $180 for 10 sessions. We are offering 6 sessions for an additional $80.00 in conjunction with Fall Ball.

Staff
In M-Juniors and Premier, we feel that we have a great coaching staff in the juniors program. We have assembled some of the most mature and top coaches in the area to help train players in this session of Fall Ball. Staff consists of either coaches from our M-Juniors program or Elite coaches in Premier

Cost
The cost for fall ball is $150.00 for the 6-week session or $230 for Fall Ball with PlyoCity. The cost includes a t-shirt to wear at training sessions. Players are asked to wear the Fall Ball t-shirt along with navy blue or black spandex to each training session.

We will send all players confirmation forms via email so please list a correct email that you check often. Questions can be emailed to Camp Director: Stephanie Harms at Sharms77@msn.com or 419-887-0270. Registration is ongoing until the camp is full at 40 campers!

Fall Youth Programs

The Fall Youth programs are designed for young players to be introduced to the sport of volleyball. The most important lessons learned at this age will be the teaching and training of the individual skills and the correct technique of each skill. We also spend a great deal of time on sport specific movement to further enhance each athlete's ability to play the game at the highest level possible. We will develop a solid base of fundamental skills as well as a passion for the sport. Players do not have to have any experience in the game at all to attend any of the youth programs
