High School League at Premier (High School Green, High School Teal, High School Pink, High School Orange) The Premier High School League teams are equivalent to other clubs’ Early Bird teams. The High School League will be comprised of Premier and other clubs Early Bird teams. They will compete on eight Tuesday nights at 7 pm and 8 pm at Premier Academy starting in January. The league will end in early March. Premier’s High School league teams will start practice in early December on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Then, in late January, games will replace practice on Tuesdays. For this level we are looking for athletes that are: Looking for a low-cost alternative with no travel Participating in another sport and need to end their club season early Would like to be on a team with a maximum of 8 or 9 players Willing to work hard for their teammates and themselves Looking to keep up their skills for their school season or looking to make their school’s team next year Wanting to play with a group of friends on the same team All team fees, team tournament/practice schedules and team coaches will be announced at Meet the Club Night on Saturday, October 18th from 5-6:30 pm at Premier Academy.Quick Facts: Any High School aged player can participate on a High School league team Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 – 6 pm from early December through January; Thursdays only 4 -6 pm from February through early March Games: Tuesdays starting in late January at Premier Academy; 7 pm and/or 8 pm Season length: early December through early March Commonly asked questions about the High School League: 1) Are the league team players equally divided? We will be evaluating players at tryouts and placing teams together based on like-scores from our evaluations. 2) What is the Premier attendance/commitment policy at the HS League level? Improving your skills as a player and helping your team requires you to be at practice and tournaments! We take attendance at every practice for safety reasons. If we feel that you are missing an unusual amount of practices, we will let you know. Consequently, players that show up to practice and work hard will naturally play more in games. 3) Can players play other sports or be involved in other activities? Yes, you can play another sport or be involved in other activities 4) Where are practices and games? All practices and games are at Premier Academy 5) When does practice start? Practices for HS League teams will begin in early December. Specifics will be announced at Meet the Club Night on Saturday, October 19th from 5-6:30 pm 6) How many days per week do they practice? Twice a week until the games start. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 pm until mid-January when the games replace practice on Tuesday nights (Thursday practice still remains). 7) How long does the season last?
