Excel Youth League Teams (10-Green, 11-Green, 12-Green, 12-Blue)

The Excel Youth League teams low-travel teams for our U10-12s players. The Youth League will be comprised of Excel and other clubs that want to compete in a league format. For this level we are looking for athletes that are:

Looking for a low-cost alternative with low travel

Willing to work hard for their teammates and themselves

Seeking to learn more about the game and increase technical ability

Wanting to play with a group of friends on the same team

All team fees, team tournament/practice schedules and team coaches will be announced at Meet the Club Night which is Sunday, November 9th 7:00 - 830 pm. at Siena Heights University (Room TBA)

Quick Facts:

Any player between 10-12 can play on a Youth League team

Season length: early January until early April

Practices are twice a week (days/times TBA) at Siena Heights University

Games are once a week, Thursdays at 7pm and/or 8pm at Premier Academy in Maumee, OH

Commonly asked questions about the Youth League:

1) Are the league team players equally divided?

We will be evaluating players at tryouts and placing teams together based on age and like-scores from our evaluations.

2) What is the Excel attendance/commitment policy at the Youth League level?

Improving your skills as a player and helping your team requires you to be at practice and tournaments! We take attendance at every practice for safety reasons. If we feel that you are missing an unusual amount of practices, we will let you know. Consequently, players that show up to practice and work hard will naturally play more in games.

3) Can players play other sports or be involved in other activities? 

Yes, you can play another sport or be involved in other activities

4) Where are practices and games?

All practices are at Siena Heights University and the games are at Premier Academy in Maumee, OH.

5) When does practice start?

Practices for Youth League teams will begin in early January, the days and times will be announced soon.

8) How many days per week do they practice?

Twice a week, exact days and times will be announced at Meet the Club Night

9) How long does the season last?

From early January until early April
