Excel High School State/League Teams (15-Green, 16-Green, 17-Green, 18-Green)

The Excel High School State/League teams are going to compete in the Premier High School League games on Tuesday nights at 7 pm and/or 8 pm. They will also have three USAV tournaments that they play in on the weekends, all within 2 hours of Adrian, MI. These teams will end their season in early April. For this level we are looking for athletes that are:

Looking for a low-cost alternative with minimum travel

Participating in another sport and need to end their club season early

Willing to work hard for their teammates and themselves

Looking to keep up their skills for their school season or looking to make their school’s team next year

Wanting to play with a group of friends on the same team

All team fees, team tournament/practice schedules and team coaches will be announced at Meet the Club Night which is Sunday, November 9th 7:00 - 830 pm. at Siena Heights University (Room TBA)

Quick Facts:

Any high school player can play on a High School State/League team

Season length: early December until early April

Practices are twice a week (days/times TBA) at Siena Heights University

League games are once a week, Tuesdays at 7pm and/or 8pm at Premier Academy in Maumee, OH

Other tournaments (3) will be within a 2 hour radius of Adrian, MI and will be single-day events on the weekend

Commonly asked questions about the High School League:

1) Are the league team players equally divided?

We will be evaluating players at tryouts and placing teams together based on like-scores from our evaluations.

2) What is the Premier attendance/commitment policy at the HS State/League level?

Improving your skills as a player and helping your team requires you to be at practice and tournaments! We take attendance at every practice for safety reasons. If we feel that you are missing an unusual amount of practices, we will let you know. Consequently, players that show up to practice and work hard will naturally play more in games.

3) Can players play other sports or be involved in other activities?

Yes, you can play another sport or be involved in other activities

4) Where are practices and games?

All practices are at Siena Heights University and the League games are at Premier Academy in Maumee, OH. The three additional area tournaments will be announced on January 1^st online.

5) When does practice start?

Practices for HS State/League teams will begin in early December. Specifics will be announced at Meet the Club Night.

8) How many days per week do they practice?

Twice a week, specifics at Meet the Club Night

9) How long does the season last?

From early December until early April
