The Northwest Ohio Power league will begin its first year of competition in the 2006 season. The power league is designed for teams from the Northwest Ohio and lower Michigan areas to compete in a round-robin style league over 3 playing dates. The goal of the league is to bring together Open level teams for good, solid competition and eliminate the need for extensive travel on non-qualifier weekends.

The league will consist of 8 teams in the age-groups of 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17s. The league will be played at multiple sites including Synergy Sports and Fitness, Premier Volleyball Academy and Blackswamp Volleyball Center. The league is open to any area teams that have teams classified as open for the 2006 season and the team must commit to all three playing dates to enter the league. For 12s and 13s we are looking for top level teams.

The league schedule and results will be kept on the respective web pages and the traditional OVR points will be awarded for these events. The final tournament will take place at the last event hosted at Premier Academy and prizes will be awarded to the teams accordingly.
